A universal measuring scriber has three forms depending on the method of measuring: a Vernier scriber, Dial scriber, and Digital scriber.
Each scriber consists of: base (1), sliding bar (2) which integrate a measuring device on the scriber similar to that of the existing Vernier, Dial, and Digital calipers.
The universal measuring scriber is used for marking scribing, tracing, dividing, and transfering dimensions from a straight and curved edge of flat or raised surface or point.
The proposed device foresees a localizer point (4) for an engraving machine, being integral with one end of a pantograph (5), which is connected at its opposite end to a scriber (6) or a cutter.
The device comprises an electronic control device (2, 3) for controlling the movement of the point guide carriage (14) and preferably also for the vertical positioning of the scriber (6) on the workpiece to be engraved.
The router (40), located on the Z-arm (30), moves downward to engage a router bit (42) to the panel (60) to depanel the printed circuit board (62) from the panel.
Rotational engagement of the ring (32) with the base (20) is effected by providing an annular groove (36) on the base (20) and a projection (38) on the ring (32) engaging the groove (36).
